FAQ/SAQ

1. How do I get help?

There are a lot of places that you can look for help. However, the problem with that is that most of the answers you will find are from doctors who have only READ about what you are dealing with. This program is to interact with those people that HAVE gone through similar situations.

2. Is there anything wrong?

Many people don’t know that there is anything “wrong” with them, they think that this is how it’s supposed to be. The fact that you are questioning “does everyone feel like this or is it just me?” Probably means that there IS something different about you and YES there are people who feel like you do!

3. What if i can’t afford it?

The problem with most “help” is the fact that it costs WAY too much money! Doctors visits, medical bills, medication, and health insurance are no small investment. That is another purpose for this site is to find affordable help!

4. I’ve tried so many other times, how is this different?

I understand how you may be feeling. I’ve tried and tried and tried again. All that means is that you’re not a quitter and that YOU are determined to make a change in your life. The fact that you continue to look for answers speaks volumes for what you are trying to accomplish in your life. The difference in this program is that it’s not like visiting a doctor who see’s a dozen other people that are similar to you and they prescribe the same generic medication to everyone. This is meant to be a very personal experience from others that have been through exactly the same thing and have them share what worked for them and what didn’t. In essence this is the combined effort of experts around the world. We are the experts because we have been through the same things!

5. Will I ever be “normal”?

No, and thats the best part! There is no reason to be “normal!” What is important to know is that there is two sides to the things that we all deal with. There are benefits of having depression, bipolar, ADD…and many other things. However, there are downsides as we all know. The purpose of looking for answers isn’t to change what we have but to minimize the negative and exploit the many positive things.

6. I don’t want to be labeled.

This is a common problem for a lot of people regardless of what their exact situation is. Society chooses to label people that have something different about them. Remember having something different DOES’NT mean there is something WRONG! The world doesn’t know how to treat people that are different so they shun them. Being confident in yourself and believing in yourself saying over and over…”there is something different about me there is NOTHING wrong with me…”

7. Why am I trying to hide?

As stated above, many people are trying to hide from the pressure of society. On the flip side there are a lot of people who are trying to hide from themselves. This goes back to being confident with who you are and what you have been BLESSED with. I can’t stress enough that there is nothing WRONG with you there is just something different. There is no need to hide what you have, but learning to live with what you have is a skill that takes years to develop.

8. Do I have something special?

It is my belief that we are a select few that have something out of the ordinary. However, identifying what exactly what that is seems to be the difficult part. I myself went over 4 years being misdiagnosed. It was very frustrating and seemed to be an endless downward spiral. If you feel that you have something different then lets find out what that is and get you on the road to finding ways to harness what you have and have it work FOR you not against you.

9. Who has all of the answers?

I want the viewer to understand that there is no silver bullet! No ONE thing is going to solve everything. I wasted so much time looking for “the next big thing” only seeing that several years down the road I had wasted a lot of my time and energy looking for the wrong thing. Are there answers out there? YES! My goal is that by communicated with each other combining the knowledge of veterans who have been through it, the answers will be much easier to find.

10. What if other people find out?

GREAT! There isn’t any reason to feel uncomfortable with what we have been given! I understand that all of us are at different levels. At the beginning I wasn’t comfortable with people knowing, I didn’t have the strength, I was embarrassed. It wasn’t until later when I found out that others were dealing with the same things and weren’t doing anything about them. That’s when I said to myself that there are others that need help more than I and I need to reach out and help them.

11. Why me?

Anyone who asks or tries to answer this question is missing the point. It’s never WHY ME it should ALWAYS be “What can I learn from this? How can I manage the good and the bad?” Having the why me attitude will just lead to more and more unanswered questions. You will exhaust what little energy you have on something that doesn’t matter. If you are asking why me STOP! Change your mindset, get out of that never ending quest for answers. When you can OWN up to what you have and ask the RIGHT questions then the right answers will come and you will move to where you want to be.
